couldn't you maybe mod a mk1 golf gti chin spoiler?
I thought about that or possibly use a MK1 mexico front spoiler.

Yes it's a possibility, but i will go to fiberglass instead polyethylene.
It fits good if i do not get the JAP one, i will probably try this one in my 3rd possibility, i will secondly try the datsun BRE air dam with out ducts.
I have some hope, ABS is reproducing the original one it's pretty good to, it will be available soon.

Those one come from ABSMotorsport, but it's a bit coarse i don't like that one particulary.
As i said they will reproduce the original one from Layland soon

Regards, to ABS for this particular good, for the purists this one is the rare STD front spoiler created for the Mini 1275GT the only Gran Turismo mini for those like me are fanatically and proud owners.
But... if i couldn't get mine Vintage JDM i would get one of those for sure...

Not Finished yet but my race 1460 7 port will rock

where you have filled it in the middle is that because of a defect?

Hi, i see you have your spoiler from Japan, I was told you had ordered it a couple of months ago
where you have filled it in the middle is that because of a defect?
Hi

Yes the spoiler doesn't fit properly and it need many hours of work to give correct fitment, please look:
If you pay atention on that effect on the center there is some kind of wave, it's not good looking and aerodinamics can be afected.
you can see it on the third foto in this topic...
My body worker and craftsman is not a fibre specialist so we adapt the spoiler to fit with some heat and we reinforce it in the back as you can see in the last foto of my last post we also mold the front metal sheet so there is not much fill.
The spoiler is not finished yet and may seem worse than it really is, but i think it will be good.
Ideas are welcome, please share your opinion mate...
