Shouldn't do. It will drag air out from under the bonnet, therefore it will cause low pressure under the bonnet if anything, 'sucking' it down.surely it creates pressure under the bonnet causing it to lift wont it?
Can you not just make some from some tube? Or flat plate if you are using hinges?

i suppose, i was just thinking cus in a soft top car the air hits u from behind where the air swirls around as it goes over the screen, kinda thought it would cause the same effect.
i would make up some alloy sleeves to go over the studding on the bonnet pin if u know what i mean, i can imagine thats the safer option anyway

Yeah, that should work pretty well. Maybe add a larger diametre piece of metal on the top of the sleeves to avoid damage to the bonnet, ie spread the weight out a little.

I think I remember reading in miniworld's aerodynamics wind tunnel test that raising the rear of the bonnet does not help to cool the engine, due to the low pressure created behind the raised edge.
Just worth a thought.
I like the look but what minijj said is right, it dosn't aid cooling at all!
