i want to get an mg metro and go for the ratlook, only difference is, i want it sparkling clean under the bonnet, and with a 16v head, or monster a series, imagine the look on peoples faces when you open the bonnet, or leave them standing, lmao!

I think you can drop porsche engines into old bugs, so that would be a laugh.

No idea, I'd spray it. Acrylic wood varnish might work, dries like plastic, and you can get it in satin. I'd thin it down though so it wouldn't show brush marks.
