For my huge system and i dont see my 45amp alternator is gonna be able to cope.

Ive got

1 x CBR 12 VIBE SUBWOOFER
2X SPACE 6 INCH SPEAKERS
2X VIBE BLACKBOX 1 AMPLIFIER
1X VIBE BLACKBOX 2 AMPLIFIER
2 X KENWOOD 6X9 SUBWOOFERS AND 200W AMP
2 X HEADREST TV'S
1 X 7INCH DVD HEAD UNIT.

i have alot of stuff that i need powering.

i will be getting a stronger battery but i do need something to charge it lol

may i ask why you need such a large alternator?

That place does universal 120amp alternators, but you'd have to figure out your own way to mount it though.

The other largest one I've seen is a 65amp one, which may do the job.

Suppose all BL tat would be interchangeable

Lets hope it's not the alternator from a 2002> Range Rover, they're water cooled and about £600 brand new!!

ive got myself a 70a alternator, powers 2 jbl 1100w subs, a 250w amp, my dvd head unit and 4 speakers, 2 cigarette lighter socket, 2 spots and whatever else i cant think of atm, i dont think youll need anything larger than that unless you actually are doing a high power install, which by looking at things, youre using vibe equipment, so i dont see how it can be

personal opinion really, i dont like vibe or fusion or any of that tat, its over-priced with poorer quality sound than some cheaper respectable equipment

Not trying to hijack the thread but I am in the same boat as the OP.....except I need a high amp alt for an MPi engine. Would any of the ones listed fit an MPi?

Probably not because the MPI uses a different style alternator. Something like an MGF might be the same fitmet though, I know the MPI used a k series style oil filter, so they might have used other parts from different Rovers?
