its good BUT the gent driving the GT40 cant drive!! the Mini has no chance at all against the Ford

That GT40 would blow the door off the Mini in a straight. That guy aint even trying. Just an old chap out for a Sunday drive in his flat cap (hopefully not Sir Stirling Moss).

some people seem to have dilusions minis are like the greatest car ever, i know i like them and all, iv got 3 of the buggers but there not competitive, nor are they fast whilst in a reliable form...thats why im not going to rally my mini any more, its going to be used how i like (and also i dont have to abide by reulations now)

I reckon the guy in the blue Mini had only nipped out for a paper 'n a pint of milk, that's why he parks up on that gravel and walks off to the shop.

The point is the Mini would be practical for a run to the shops and better than the Ford for some other motorsports as well as a whole lot cheaper to run. I bet it was more fun passing the Gt in the Min than the other way round 'n all.
