Have you tried contacting Camskills? From what I remember they give you a code to put in that greatly reduces the price of the R888's. May be worth a go.....

I havent had the opportunity to try the 225's yet due to the fact that the car hasnt turned a wheel since december and is still in bits now.

I am collecting a set of part worn slicks on the friday night and are looking forward to getting them on for a track day or two this year.

Thats a good find on the Yoko's, that is a possible next tyre although I really quite fancy a go on the 225's.

I just looked on the Tweeks site again and people should note they only supply the A032's in soft compound, also Tweeks prices are ex VAT and P&P, Camskills are inc VAT and I believe P&P is very fairly priced, if it isnt free. Check the 215/50/13 Kumhos on the camskill site, they are cheaper than the Yoko's

I have been having a scout around for more tyres and I came across some new tyres from Avon, they are a road legal track tyre.

This is a place you can buy them (prices are less VAT and P&P):
http://www.bmtr.co.uk/road_legal.htm

And this is the info from the Avon website on the tyres:

I reckon these are worth a go when its time to renew mine..

good find, without buying wider rims i was going to try and go for something smaller than 225 as i think it will look a bit silly.
215 is better, are going for them front and back then?

I currently run 185/60 on the front and 205/60 on the rear, so I would do the same and run the 185's on the front and the 215's on the rear.

I quite like the look of the ZZR tyre as well.

I am now running R888 225/45 13's on my rears now but they are fairly new so no chance of sending you a knackered tyre, I can give you approx sizes if you need them, although you can probably get the same info from the Toyo website. Camskill tyres seem the cheapest on the net for R888's

I am running 7" wide wheels on the front with 185/60's and 8" wide wheels on the rear with 225/45's. I would prefer a smaller profile on the front but not essential. I might have to go for 175/50 AO48's on the front next.

Nice, a bit on the expensive side but would be a good tyre.
