:I have seen this mentioned and as i need a new one thought that i may aswell upgrade while i'm at it. Just wondering if it has to be from a certain age/spec/year Type R? Also a rough price? Thank you :]

Any reason for that battery, a quick search seems to show that the Civic Type R battery spec is around 430 CCA 45Ah

Around 525 CCA and 60Ah

that's good to know, thanks :)
as the standard battery isn't upto to running the stereo, spots, heater and wiper all at once!
so it will sit inside the battery tray no problems and the leads will reach the terminals?
