hi peeps

anyone know where i can get custom window/fog etc switches from?

kinda want ones like blue led ones.

have you looked at savage switches?

This is the switch panel i have made for mine, there not cheap mind! Around £20 a pop!

I wired mine in with resistors on the leds, so when the sidelights are on, the rest glow slightly, then get brighter as there turned on, as you can see from the photos.

Its now got one of the big Savage engine start buttons in the middle, which i have to admit isnt upto the quality of the other switches!

rich that is awesome!!!

i saw those on ebay and fort ye there worth 20 quid but seeing them with that picture hell yes there worth it.


how did you make the metal template and with what metal as it looks chrome?

Its just polished up stainless steel mate, about 1mm thick.

I used the old switch panel as a template, then cut the majority with th guilitine and aviation shears then finished up the curves on the bench grinder. Gave it a good polish and i was sorted!

wikid i think im gonna have a go but with the wiring what did you do? any chance you have a diagram as im not fully sure what i gotta do

Yer, theres a guide on here about it, il have a dig and find it for you, although i admit i altered the design slightly to use a higher resistance resistor, so it was a proper noticable change in brightness, as in my opinion the ones int he guide do not make that much difference when there on or off. Il have a search for you now.

where did you get those carbon fiber looking stickers for the heater controlls and switch pannle

That was the start switch i wish i had got now. I like the larger size of mine but the fact its printed rather than engraved just makes it look cheap compared to the others!
