i'd go for this head unit if it was me...head unit (comes with FULL chav-pod control)

and these for up front....6.5's

6x9 are marmite.... their either loved or hated... have a listen and make your own mind up... :):)

again this is my opinion.... im not disagreeing with anyone, its what i have gauged as being the best for what i want... and i listen to bass heavy music (d&b niche dubsteb breakbeat.. little bit of hip-hop...)

Agreed, 6 x 9s are like marmite. See if you can listen to any speaker before you buy them

Also, why do you call it chav-pod? You suggest iPods, the best selling mp3 player in the world are chavvy? :/

The cambridge soundworks speakers you have are reasonably good, saw them in PC world the other day. That company is mid range, where as alpine is high end of the market, however the speakers I suggested are from the middle range. Difficult to say but I'd say you'd be looking at about the same sound quality

It's not easy comparing car audio to home audio becuase of the amps used etc, but I imagine the sound system I have at home is similar in sound quality to the speakers i suggested, obviously not as loud . If you want to see my system I shall send links.

I live in a town called hednesford.

When i get my Mini (hopefully) i will be over there after a parcel shelf and kick board for speakers. To be fair i looked through the site and love all the products.
