lol, i dont feel like a real size person, more like a child.....when the school kids coem out they all tower over me! lol so i drive a mini to make me feel big
He he he! I think that school kids tower over everyone these days though.![]()
Really shouldn't be posting here, but I can fit vaguely comfortably in the back of mine, at 6'2".
thats awsome! just prooves there is more room than u think in a mini! i pile people in the back of mine
Absolutely - and it can be an advantage. A chap I knew had a massive shunt in a Mini, he was around 6'6" and used to wedge himself into a Mini for a trip to work up the A21. One morning, one the approach to Robertsbridge he hit a patch of black ice while overtaking a lorry. He rolled the Mini several times, but walked away with cuts and bruises. The lorry driver helped him out of the wreckage and admitted afterwards that as he approached the wreck he was convinced he would be confronted with a corpse. The police and ambulance men reckoned he was so tightly wedged into the car that he didn't move around during the accident.![]()
I need to pile people in the back of mine - I've just changed the rear cones and it is currently sitting like a monster truck!
By the way rubex - cool Mini!
thats rreally quite amazing/....i think i would be thrown about a bit :/

there was a thread running about the tallest mini driver
and well im just being nosey....but who is actually tiny?
It's just when i got my mini i expected other mini drivers to be wel.....mini! lol
I am only 5ft! And one of my favorite things about driving amini is that i feel like a proper size person when im sat in my car
It was liek someone designed teh car perfectly for me.....although the desgner of bucket seats did NOT.....as i have just had to flog mine as i can't see over the dash eurgh!
So who is mini?
The ex was a bit of a vertically challenged, had to use a cushion with the bucket seats she had in hers (cobra classics) just to see over the steering wheel and dials lol.
On the other hand I have the seat just a little way (about 2 clicks from fully back, so fit quite nicely. Can also get in the back of the mini, but getting out (probably getting old) is a bit more of a challenge.

I Drove A Ferrari f430 On A Track And My Head Was Touching The Roof.
Ferrari's are generally terrible to drive (now there's a sweeping generalisation!)
It helps to be short, with arms that reach your knees.

I Agree With That, My Mini Is More Stable And Far Better Round The Corners, Also Alot More Head Room, They Electric Seats Where Cool Tho

He he he! Mine just has the rust - no spots at the moment - Rust, Pah! >

I would have loved to have done l2b, it used to be just down the road, now it is somewhat further to travel.
Maybe one day!

Yes - sounds good. Once I am reasonably confident that she'll get to London then I'll give it a go! If I get to London, Brighton'll be a piece of cake

Unfortunately, rust is a normal part of life for a Mini owner. Still, they're worth it
