I really need help!
When ever i go up and down hills the car starts stuttering really badly. It's so bad the whole car is really moving and when i'm goin uphill it starts to loose power. But when the cars on flat ground its fine :dontgetit:
Its also started cutting out when i slow down like at a junction.
What can the problem be?

Low fuel level? (seriously).

Or maybe you've some dirt in the tank?

im thinking along the lines of fuel, either in the float bowl, or in the tank, or a lazy pump that doesn't like gravity!

The fuel tanks three quarters full and when it stutters it sounds and feels like something is hitting the clutch pedal but there nothing on the interior hitting the pedal. The noise also happens when you change gear. New clutch fitted a couple of weeks ago.

So it's a knocking, not a stuttering?

Have you checked the engine mounts and steadies. Open the bonnet, grab the top of the engine and rock it back and forth, does it move?

Its knocking and stuttering.
The engine moves a little but would that affect the clutch pedal.

If it's misfiring under load I’d check the engine electrics, and more than likely swap the coil at the same time.

I'm having almost the same problem at the moment! Going up steep hills it'll just keep cutting out (no fuel), and seems to be ever so slightly juddering going down hill or driving at a consistent speed. I've been blaming a faulty fuel pump (which it might be), although if its the same problem as you and you've changed your pump maybe its not.... ;D

Someone else suggested that maybe the pump has just sucked up some crap from the bottom of the fuel pump and is partially blocking the pump..?

Let me know if you get it sorted!

Have you checked point gap,you could try swapping old points and condensor over see if it helps.
Im assuming plugs are all ok and gapped?
Remove a plug and see if its getting wet(an indication of a weak spark)if only one is different then its the plug, cap or this lead braking down.IF they all are it could be the coil(is this getting hot?)breaking down,or its a dizzy prob.
Was it previosly ok and this has just started happening?
