the general consensus is between 28-30 psi! It's your preference where about you put yours!
I have used 28 on all my cars, 10", 12" and 13" wheels!

As stated above, it's your preference.
Higher pressures (to a point) = better fuel economy but bouncier ride
Lower pressures = a cushy ride and slightly lower fuel economy

Yep
Is what Chris recommends. Does handle very nicely so far I must say! If I remember rightly the reason was something like the tyres are designed to fit a number of cars most of which are a lot heavier than ours so you don't need loads of pressure in them! Sounded reasonable to me and like I said seems to handle well
Also the pressure in the tyres increases as they get hotter.

Pressures like 13 and 15 are routinely run in racing tires in non-Mini applications. If you've got similar high-performance tires it makes sense that you'd run your Mini's tire pressure that low.

ah, time to lift this topic up
are u guys really serious about pressures like 30psi? My front tires look "empty" but still has about 30psi and I can even press the tire rubber inside with my thumb without even pressing hard(!).
(i got the same falken 165/60/12 tires as in this topic and 6x12" wheels).

28 psi on the tyres that the car was made with and hardly any wear.
