hey all im new to the mini world. just been reading all the posts with regards to the headlight covers. mine have arrived off ebay this morning having paid 19 pounds for them (not too bad really as the last set i watched went for 35!)

just to double check before i fit them do i remove the outer ring and hook them over the bowl ring then refit the outer ring?

could do with a reply asap as im quite excited about fitting these!!!!!!!!!

Yep, they clip over the inner ring of the headlight, then the outer ring is then refitted, making the lenses secured in place!

oh yes finally got mine on now!! ill admit dont look quite as good as they do on the red clubman because the clubby grill hides the straps but still look amazing

I think I may fit one of my sets once my cars back on the road seeng as everyones doing it now. I cant belive how much people are paying for these. I bought my first set for under a tenner then bought a 2nd pair for 99p.

youre lucky jon getting them for that price.there were 3 sets on ebay at the time i bought mine. 1 went for about 35 and the other for about 25. i managed to win the other 1 that nobody was watching. they do look cool - very retro!!!!

i picked up another set for a fiver posted, just incase of a stonechip incident or something

The clubby is looking fantastic with the yellow covers! I believe you can also buy a film that goes over the headlights? Out of interest has anyone been stopped by the police for using these? I imagine the cops around here wouldn't hesitate to nick me for these haha
