Hi
When he gets warm, he splutters when you try to accelerate. Also when you stop for a junction or traffic lights, etc, he cuts out and dies. Looses power when you go uphill too, and sometimes cuts out, depending on how big the hill is lol.
I got Chipster196 coming over next weekend to look at it, and hopefully fix it. A few people have said it might be the coil?

I'm new on here and sadly have no mini. Had the mini bug for a while and not sure if it was a good idea joining a forum where i get jealous of every other mini haha but heres hoping i get one soon

Check the timing for the splutter.
Mine had the same problem and that fixed it

Damp in the distributor cap? Had something simular, but this was in winter, just take the cap off, dry it with a rag and spray some WD40 / easystart in there? Probably wont be it, but it wont harm it.

deffo check the timin! thats the only problem iv ever had with mine, and its doin it again now, when i give it beans it pops away, mines dead hard to start aswell i am assuming thats the timing too, oh and my fuel consumption, i blame the timing too, not just my heavy right foot
