[COLOR=blue]hi peeps. my names craig, yorkshire lad,25 living and working in southampton, bought my car in august for a change from my beautiful audi a4, everyone says im mad but they dont understand!!! nice to talk to people who understand why i got one. :wink: its a 998 mini city E. 1989 F reg. i love it. do miss the joys of aircon tho. got a new front sub frame and everything between the front wheels. changed the rocker and manifold gasket and swapped all hoses and jubilees over to new ones, also sprayed the engine blue while it was out and it looks much nicer. also added a proper weather plastic thing to stop moisture getting into my starter and HT leads and gave it a good service. runs a lot nicer now. seem to be using a reservoir of clutch fluid every 2 weeks tho,but i'll get that sorted soon. engine runs well and starts first time even on these freezing mornings. only problem i seem to have is when i turn her off she tends to run on for a few seconds. i would like to meet up with some of you guys and gals some time and chat mini all night. doesnt seem to be any meets around my area tho. know of any over this way? look forward to hearing from you.
