my brother did this with his MR2 as he drives a van all day he wasnt concetrating. he drained the tank toe'ed it to the petrol station then toe'ed it to a quiet road and ragged the hell out of it. his best mates a mechanic and told him this was the cheapest option and it worked fine. the mr2 is still working today and its 18 years old 19 in december.

you can only use the diesel petrol mix in your diesel cars if they arent equiped with common rail injection, if you had the old rotery type pump they are usualy a touch more resilient, it really depends on the mix ratio though!
