I have to say I say this in the flesh on Saturday & it's superb, you really wouldn't know if it's a clubby with van sides or a van with a clubby front! Well done :D

Very cool mate, nice to see it on the road.

What are those mirrors like to drive with?

cheers man! the mirrors actually are very good, just take a little getting used to being on the wings lol i wasnt sure at 1st, but getting them in the right position, they give better visability than door mirrors IMO, especially when over taking or switching lanes on the motorway! :D

and Josh, good to see you again mate! your clubby estate is looking good! glad to hear you like the conversion! had alot of people with confused looks come and ask about it lol

I saw your car a couple of times over the weekend mate, once at Crystal palace when you were lined up and once when you where at Brighton, parked up, you weren't near it either time unforunately though. It's sooo much nicer in the flesh than it is in the pictures. I think you may have seen Wilf parked up, he was on the other side, next to the Bini, about 5 cars along.

You still going to put the stripe over the bonnet like in the photoshop? Would finish it off a treat I think. I never saw it over the weekend. I did look for it but couldn't find it. Glad it all went smoothly though.

decided against the stripe now its all finished, i like the clean look of a single colour! if it had been painted on when i collected the van, it still would of looked sweet, but not gonna bother now  glad you all liked it (those who saw it in the flesh anyways!) :) onto the next project! haha

cheers for the comments guys! been driving her now since the 7th of may, few small hicups such as a faulty alternator and a poor excuse of a Y piece and exhaust manifold, but other than that, all plain sailing! shes even gonna be in mini magazine soon, just waiting on a photographer to get in touch and get the ball rolling :xxx:

MR-SKIMMED- it was an epic build, and only just over 4 months of weekend work, out on it from 8am, till gone 11pm most weekends

Lewis - as for the offer of sega games and a snickers, its tempting, but i already have tons of sega games (mega drive, master system, sega mega cd etc etc) so ill have to pass on the offer thanks lol
