Hi just wondering if it it possible?

I have a mk1 mini, with a c16se lump in there at the moment, but i was wondering can i fit a x16xe cylinder head on this lump?

If i can will i need any mods?

If so does any one have any pictures of this conversion?

Any help is appriciated

engine swap, Pistons are different, cut outs for 16v. Also think the crank camshaft pulley is slightly different too. Then you would also need a pedal box as the inlet / throttle bodies would interfere with your brake and clutch master cylinders.

Heres my daily driver atm (C16XE with the bigger ports)
