What about an iPhone based motorcycle intercom meant for biker and pillion?

*comment flies over my head*

sorry Pooky, thats beyond my experience i'm afraid - but i guess there could be issues re hearing traffic if you have a headset on?

Thanks David, those look good. Loved my old alpine unit I used to have!

thats what i was thinking, i dont think youll hear a small sound system over the straight cuts. and i dont think it matters about hearing traffic because you cant hear them anyway

I bought a Sony head unit from Halfords with an iPod connection in the glove box along with two Pioneer speakers. The speakers were only £19.99 and sound great, they are under the rear seat. My car is pretty loud and you do have to have it on quite loud to hear it properly whilst driving, but it does sound good and wasn't expensive. Pop in to a shop like Halfords or any other car audio retailer and have a listen to some of the speakers on display. I was prepared to pay more for the speakers but thought that they sounded great and they were cheap... Bargin.

Hey Jo, I have my great quality 13 cm Alpine front speakers up for sale, as well as the speaker pods I housed them in if your interested.
