I'm going to The Mini Cooper Day at Beaulieu on the Sunday. I usually travel down on the Friday for Beaulieu, but I'm going down a day earlier this time so I can go to The Ace. I haven't been there since 1996 when I went to an Italian Motorcycle meeting.

 

 

Hope you're still coming to Ace Stuart - it looks like the weather's going to be lovely.

 

We're bring Trevor (1275GT) and Betty (Jet Black) and coming in convoy with Colin Woodage and Mr D, his Mk2 Cooper and Jason Adams is planning to meet us at High Wycombe with Eddie, his Mk3 Cooper S so we should have a good little convoy of four Minis.  

 

Who else is going?  Any of the usual suspects?

When's the next Mini meet down there?  I'm eager to check this place out, so may as well go when fellow Mini nuts are there!

The mod and mini night is the first Thursday of every month, I went to the last one and it was a good turnout.

Looks like I got there just in time on Thursday to get parked. After a 5 hour trip I got there at half seven and got parked right at the front next to a nice looking blue Clubman.

 

Nice Fiesta Yellow Morris with tuned 850.

 

Interesting anti-theft device, look in your local motorcycle accessory shop if you want one.

I took a few not very good ones.  We got there late due to problems on the M40   It was a lovely evening and a good turn out, although by the time I got round to photos, quite a few had left.

It was a fantastic night at the Ace tonight - a really good turn out and there were some serious bargains at the Italian Job auction as well as it being for a good cause.
