thats nice having the tv on a slide out mechanism. how are you powering yout tv?

cheers man  it uses a rear wipeer motor to push it in and out :)
and the tv is just powered with a power inverter that i have hardwired to the battery an just put it on a switch so i can turn it on and off.

no it doesnt budge. i took the tv casing apart and screwed it down onto some draw slides an then it is held still by the linkage from the motor so only moves when you press the button. i will try and get some pictures of the back. -_-

I got a little first aid symbol and warning triangle symbol out a Vectra boot at a scrapyard and made a side panel when I did my boot so I didn't have to dismantle it when I want to fill the washer bottle.
I'm gonna fit a 40" plasma next year lol.

The whole flap thingy was also from a scrap yard, I can't remember from what type of car but most recent cars have some kind of first aid box or jack box with a removable lid in the boot. I got one for a fiver and covered it in the same sub box carpet as the boot, heated a small steel screwdriver handle with a blow torch and pressed it on to melt and countersink the carpet so I could stick the symbols on with superglue.
