I love what this mini owner has done just two things for me that let it down 1) engine and 2) seats. Have a look http://www.classicmi...rg/chopmini.htm

I was considering suicides just last night. As i'm going to start stripping my car down for respraying over the next few months, i thought it might be worthwhile doing that too.

I don't understand why he's done it to a 1963 mini.

i can see what you mean about the seats, some lazy boy recliners would be perfect.
i cant however see what you mean about the engine.

DON'T DO IT, YOU'VE GOT PLENTY OF YEARS TO LIVE YET!

Oh wait.....suicide doors.....ah.

Moving on!

Personally, not my cup of tea but you can see the work that's gone into it.

Never thought i'd say this having a mental age of about 76 (minus the wisdom) but i quite like these "candy" colours, especially that lovely red shade the car is draped in.

All that work, all that money and painting and horse power and you know what lets it down? Indicator and wash / wipe stalks. He should have got some Veyron ones, £9,000 well spent, lol.

That looks very very well done. Look at the flush mounted rear light - I didn't even notice them until I saw the close up pictures of them.

The sunroof is pretty epic too.

$45k though - Ouch!
