Be interested in this myself.

I do know that the bulkhead wiring can be tucked up using the bent cable support tags.

you can run all the wiring down the wings but on the oppsite side

then under the slam panel and behide the dash

ive only ever done it to a polo mark 2 and it looked sweet as

we made up a hole new wiring loom though since it was a full resto on it

what do mean by hidden?
mine runs under the scuttle so you cant see it but they made the car like that.
just tuck it under the bendy hooks

Blade fuses and cartridge fuses aren't rated in the same way. The only really safe way to use blade fuses in a car originally built with cartridges is to completely redesign the wiring from scratch. There is already lots of information here about this, use the search box for more details.

Hi the pictures as promised the wiring isn't finished yet I just need to get some tie wrap stands riveted on beneath the flexible tube and all will be secure.

that wiring looks the same as mine except its in smooth tape instead of jagged pipe.
if thats what hidden means then im my opinion you might aswell leave it as is.

unless of course its all messed up atm and needs sorting out anyway.

thats not what hidden means

he means running all the wiring on the other side of the wing so that it cant be seen at all.

if your hiding the wiring might be worth smoothing out the engine bay a little if your going for the clean look... maybe even a different coloured bay

removing things like tabs and filling in any holes to give it a nice smooth look.

correctimondo! basically making it smooth ... if you look on the web at vw's mainly there engine bays are just soo clean there are no factory holes or anything where nothing is mounted too even things like horns are hidden or made to be a work of art
