How much is a std mk1 cooper s worth in mint condition???
there is 2 pints at stake in this bet so i need an answer asap.

i did not expect them to be worth that much, my dad has found me one for 1600 quid, full road race spec!

i dont believe that lol. its gotta b a wreck. ive jus seen a shell with some extras for 2500 quid. a mint condition ones gotta b worth at least 10 grand.

documentation! Do a reg. check on it too, with the DVLA or RAC. For that price, if it is a MKI Cooper S it is a bargain!

I'd say £10-15k, maybe if its fully rally prepared edging up towards £20k.

there's a thread on here somewhere about IDing MKIs. There are a few differences.
External door hinges,
front subframe top mounts are different,
bodywork is different from some later models in quite a few places too
