Nice Car divac!

Was wondering if you could post pictures of the interior light. i also have the same 1100 special in the Philippines. The shop that used to fix my car lost the interior light when i had the car painted.

also what markings are on your front turn signal lights? the same guy broke both turn signals on mine so i have no idea what part i should replace them with.

Very nice Mini! I also have a 1977 1100 Special that I am restoring.

At the beginning of this post, you show a photo of your car's VIN plate. It lists your car as a "Mini MK II". Mine is listed that same way. I thought that maybe VIN plate had been swapped out at some time, since a '77 would actually be a MK IV. But yours confirms that it may be legitimate.

Did you ever find the vinyl roof you wanted? I would like one too for my car. Luckily, my car is red and the stock roof color would have been black.

Very nice car! I also have Mini Special 1100, from Bucharest Romania, year 1980.
The last letter "B" from the VIN numbers seems to be from Belgium. Maybe our cars were made in Belgium factory?

True these cars are made in Belgium, start date 1977 excat month i dont know that part yet
