Right well, think its about time to show you the other things I work on, as I do bits on the machinery I will add them
So..What I did today, we've had a leaking cylinder head for about a year, so today it was time to change it....

Looks like there could be a touch of valve seat recession there, did you check it?

Yup all checked, its the pictures being deceiving, that ingression is into to a layer of sooty deposits, tested the seal properly. Ther valves fit into there own little 'hole' type thing if you see what I mean, not flush with the head.

We've got an MF here, on the farm - It's just conked out in one of the fields, lol :w00t:

Been here since new, bought by my grandad, in the 50's :thumbsup:


Nice to see them all still going strong!! :lol:

My first job was with Massey @ Banner lane Coventry, nothing of it left now tho', and not that I know anything about tractors other that I had to go on a 'Product appreciation day'... or in other words, a day driving around in tractors and combines....

Tractors definitely come high up the 'cool' wall :w00t:

thought it looked a bit like 1 lol we got a 3cylinder diesle 35 an an international an a few bigger tractors jcb 411 jcb fastrac massey 6480 ,6170 an a couple of others
