Gear And Handbrake Gaitor

Hi all, I've recently brought this now my mini already has a gear leaver gaitor so I can fit that no problem the only thing is how do I fit the handbrake gaitor as so far as i'm aware my mini has never had one, any help greatly appreciated.

Do you have any sort of handbrake grip? If you do take that off, slide gaitor over handbrake, replace grip, tuck gaitor under carpet. Done.

I've got a gearlever gaitor too and found that the neck was very baggy, I used plain old insulating tape to close it up but then my gaitor was black...

Thanks I thought it was something simple like that but at the moment my car is in for repairs and all I have to play with, with regards trial fitting is the carpet.
