If you have a centre console and you want/need to replace just the middle piece e.g the front facing piece of wood (or whatever it's made of) does anyone sell just that part?

I have a veneer style console, and i don't really want to buy a whole new console when there isn't anything wrong with it.

is it stapled at the back? if so id imagine you could just remove the staples (carefully), find a piece of MDF of matching thickness and trace the pattern onto it, cut it out, restretch the material and re-staple?
just a thought anyway
