Hi everyone,

I've been looking into a momo wheel for my mpi and after doing a search on the forum i found that most people say I'd need a boss kit for an MGF? I just want to double check this and would like to ask if the link below is the right thing?

Cheers

Ethan

I'm after a momo team :). Its the one thing that annoys me about mpi's is that its so expensive to change the wheel compared to other minis!

this one will fit , its the one i have on

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item335f210049

you will need the plug and a bit of cable off your standard wheel to fit the horn and a 2.7ohm resistor from maplins (about 30p) to satisfy airbag system.

remove your battery leave for around 10 mins then unscrew airbag from rear of wheel unplug airbag and remove behind airbag in steering wheel cut red and black wires for horn this should leave a yellow wire for airbag and two wires (red and black)remove steering wheel fit new boss feed wires through holes in boss then put a tie wrap around conector with wires coming out onto boss (this just holds the conection in place so will turn with wheel, fit 2.7 ohm resistor across the two holes in the yellow airbag wire and tape up, then extend the red and black wires to go across your horn button , job done and a lot cheaper than an airbag boss at nearly £90
