angle grinders arent going to be the best thing to put attachments on either, you dont often get speed ajustment and spin too fast in the 1st place, they also dont have the range of movement that a DA sander has aswell...not saying it wont work but it shalnt be as good :wub:

well i HAVE to bare metal my mini as the previous owner painted it with an enamel based paint, so i cant spray over that as it reacts. initially im using paint stripper to get it somewhere back down to its original paint, then im using a twisted wire knot wheel or cup on an angle grinder, flap wheels also work well but they have a tendancy to sand away the metal so i stick with the wire wheels. its a tedious and boring and messy job but it has to be done.

flat the enamel paint and coat with bar coat/isolator.

ive just bought some barcoat actually, its going to be a pain to strip the roof and do the other side quarter and door so ill get it flatted and lashed on at work sometime, cant be driving round in a primer/blue/white mini and bare gel coat bonnet haha
