Don't bother, doesn't sound like he knows alot about what he has. For a start he says it suitable for a 1000 or a 1275, for a start he probably means 998, and if he does he mentions nothing of the block pocketing you'd need to do to fit it to a 998.
Secondly only rip off merchants would charge £500 for a Stage 3 head, I paid £300 for a brand new one from MiniSpares!
He also doesn't mention the size of the ports and can't spell brakes!
Talk to Bluemini if you want a cylinder head, he'll be able to give you a very good head tailor modified to your requirements.

That's a small bore head so absolutely no use for a 1380....

How d'you know it's a small bore guessworks? Number of stud holes? Top trumps for the next link, i'd be getting this if i had a 1275!
Burton's is quite close to me, i'm considering calling them a visit for my headwork to have a chat. They mostly work on Fords.

Orientation of thermostat studs and heater take off...
On a small bore the heater take off is 90 degrees to head studs, where as on a 1275 it's angled slightly to the left..
and on a small bore the themostat holes are at 3, 7 and 10 o'clock, on a big bore they are at 12, 4 and 8 o'clock...

my god - never noticed that one before!!On a small bore the heater take off is 90 degrees to head studs, where as on a 1275 it's angled slightly to the left..
I knew the thermostats pointed differently, but I never thought to look at the heater takeoff!
