Currently, the project I have has a one piece fibreglass front..

The thing is I want it to look at normal as possible! For instance I don't want not latches like people have on fibreglass bonnets etc..

How have people mounted there as inconspicuously as possible?

And are steel clubman flip fronts available?

steel fronts are made using parts bought as if you were replacing the front end they don't come as a kit ready to fit as the fibreglass ones do. The parts are readily available from places like ebay, minispares etc

i have a standard roundnose flip front you can see how i have solved all the different problems by clicking here

So could I just buy all the out side clubman panels and make my own one piece steel flip front?

Edit: Just read it all properly, good work with those hinges..

So is it more just time patience and a little bit of fabrication to get it fitted nicely?

yeah all you would need are a pair of wings and a front panel and then weld them together.
