Im looking at starting a project spring of next year. I have been trying to find a Hayabusa or R1 engine but they all want way to much. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, after struggling myself I sourced mine from Colibriman, Colin delivered the engine 2 days later and has been very helpful throughout with extra bits as promised by him.
I met a couple of Swedish guys whilst visiting Z Cars who told me that they could source engines cheaper in Sweden, but I have no further info than that

I checked out the link they have some good selections. Does anyone know about the swedish connection? Over here all they want to do is sell you a whole bike. That may not be a bad deal if I can sell all the salvageable parts.

I got mine local from an e-bay seller but if you do a search on e-bay for registered sellers DAWSON 52 may be able to help you
But expect to pay £2000 + for a decent Hayabusa and £1000 R1 injection
Mark :wales:
Ps just found him again on e-bay he breaks quality hayabusa's and sells them to z-cars !!!
So cut out the middleman

Brought 2 r1 engine's from these. Came complete and very good service when we had a problem with one of them.

Don't look like they have any at the moment but might be worth trying.
