hello everyone. ive just phoned about a car for sale in the mini mag. all the details are fine, and the car sounds great. its an austin mini 1991. there isnt pic but the woman assures me the car is in great condition. the woman says the colour is a light bluey colour, not metallic. any ideas?? what colour? pic of the colour please anyone.

hey i think it is that colour. ive just found it on ebay aswell lol. she wants 950 ono.
had sills for recent mot. but i can see bits of rust on it, that she didnt mention. a long way to go, to turn around and come back.

if u want a bargain then dont go for a private sale.
i would wait and bid on ebay.
i dont think it will reach anywhere near £950.
its a 10day auction with 3 days to go and its only at £360 no reserve.
i think the most it will go for is approx £550 and that account for the last minute chancers.
its location also goes against it !!
at £550 its a good deal.
it also depends how desperate you are - if u want it then offer her a price before going down to see it. doing it this way is always a bit risky btu at least it means u get the car and a price u r happy to pay.
for me - play cool and bid on ebay !!

I reckon it will struggle to make the 950..
but at the last minute of the auction shove a bid of 950 in, if it is less than that you will win..

Also if you bid on E-bay and then find it is not as described (more rust than mentioned for example) you are perfectly in your rights to refuse to buy stating Not as Described and you shouldn't recieve any bad feedback.
