Message roofless, he's got 4 JL 6 inchers in a kick board under the rear seats.
Looks a beast.
Theres a few other people who've done something similar too.
If you're going for 8 inchers then you'll need to fabricate something yourself because the holes for the subs need to be cut at an angle to fit them under the rear seats, but go for it anyway, its not hard.

Oh no, don't get me wrong, they will DEFINITELY fit, but you'll need to get (either make or buy) a kick board.
From there, you'll need to cut some 8" MDF rings and fit them to the board. You will however find that they won't fit flat on, so you'll need to angle them at upwards about 30 degrees to make them fit.
To angle them, either cut a wedge shape of MDF which you can fit one of the rings to and then put onto the board, or use dowell rods.
Trust me, its not hard at all, then carpet it all and fit the speakers.
Lovely jubbly

The problem is it will be carrying passengers so idealey would like to have them flush to the kick board.

I had a pair of Elemental Designs 6 inchers under the rear seat and they sat flush no problem.
You're gonna have to be careful though as they are still dangerously close to heels when you have passengers.
You'll also have to seal the under seat area and check the cubic capacity to make sure its matched to what the subs need for best performance. It's not difficult, but i does take some time to get right.

If you're worried about passengers kicking them,
A) Don't take any passengers
B) Fit 6 inch subs and stealth mount them to the board so they can't be kicked (that just means screw them into the back of the board rather than onto the front)
C) Tell the passengers to be bl00dy careful
D) Still fit the 8" subs but make sure they've got decent grilles protecting them from any mispaced heels.
