My 5 Dutch friends, who I know from when we were very little, will come over to London for our yearly meet. I have organised several special things for them that weekend (see a Crystal Palace match, doing GoApe fx). I wanted to surprise them by taking them in a small Mini convoy back to the airport on sunday the 19th of September. I am member of a really small Mini club and unfortunately, only one member is available to help us out. I have a Mini myself, so we are only two now.

So I'm looking for two more Mini's and drivers, who like to help us out that sunday, to drive from Uxbridge to Stansted. I'm planning on making a small detour through the country side, to give them the real experience of driving a Mini through the English countryside. Your petrol will be reimbursed and there is a small payment for your help. I hope to make it a nice afternoon out, also for you! My friends are great, all very social and educated types, so I'm sure you're going to have a nice time as well.

Going to an Eagle's home game,I thought you said they were your friends
I can say these things,I could see the Selhurst Park lights from where I lived.Many's the time I've watched them change the 100W bulbs.

Well, it's not our first choice. We wanted to go to one of the big teams, but that's impossible to get tickets for if you're a one time visitor. On the other hand, Edgar Davids, just started playing for Palace, so we can cheer him on and bring a Dutch flag.

CLEARLY the best team in the country, let alone the division. Thats why we all meet there every year for the best mini event in the calendar.

We've got Edgar Davids for free! Not even Spurs could land him, and they had to go for Van Der Vart instead, and that cost them 8 million!

On the mini note, im putting myself down as a maybe. I live in SE London so it wouldnt be a major distance BUT it's my 21'st bday party the evening before so chances are im still going to be drunk come 2.30pm the day after.

Thanks for considering helping us out. It's quite a big thing to ask of you if you had your birthday party before, but it would be great if you could. We can have a chat then about the Palace match against Burnley. The only thing is that I need at least one more Mini for sure, not one we can't really count on. You could be the second Mini I am hoping for.
