Hi all

Just test drove a potential Mini and it's a 92 1275 Mayfair that fuel injection.

I checked the obvious and everything seems to work but I have noticed the following problems:

Clunking when going on and coming off the power (i did a search and have posted something in a different thread)
Eggy smell. The exhaust looks fairly new from the flexy joint back but didn't check the cat.
It runs a little lumpy. Could this be a bigger problem as my parents use to have a Cooper Si and they got rid of it because it ran lumpy.

I have little knowledge about Mini's so is the 1275 injection a good buy? The main downside of the car is that the doors a bubling and a little bit of rust here and there. Apart from the, the car is in really good condition. £1,300 and with 37,000 on the clock.

Thanks in advance.
