I may be wrong but with headlight switch you would need a 2 stage switch so that first click would turn on side lights then second click would turn on side lights and then headlights, so the switch you have the link for wouldnt work as it would turn the lights either on or off

I may not have explained it well but THIS is the kind of switch you would need

Hope this helps

Similar to our switch panel;

You can use two different switches if you wire them so dipped can only come on with sides.

Hi matey. What sort of price would we be looking at for a five switch panel. Sidelight, Dipped, Fog, Rear Heater, Brake test or Hazard (or possible other).

I was looking at doing it myself so wasn't sure whether to go with a Brake Test or Hazard due to hearing about the trick wiring to get the Hazard switch to do its job properly. I was going to hide a normal mini hazard switch in the glovebox. I was also going to leave out the Brake Test as it seems pointless to me, and have a spare switch for an optional extra if i hide the Hazard

Hope that makes sense, and feel free to PM me instead if you dont want to put prices up on the open forum.

Hi mate, no, i don’t mind putting up prices.

Basically there’s 2 price bands, the 4 switch panel coming in at £100 and the 5 switch panel at £120. If you want the hazard switch fitted to either of the 4 or 5 switch panels unfortunately there is an extra £10 charge, as you state this needs a special switch body to allow the switch to be compatible with the minis hazard wiring loom.

We can make the back panel out of almost any material you like (Titanium and diamond have a slight price increase)

We can fit a simple blank switch into the panel if this would be better as a spare? These have the same illuminated ring but no engraved illuminated symbol on them.

Thanks
Rich

We keep a range of the most common switches in stock so turnaround is relativly quick from when we receive the order.

I know exactly what you mean! It always gets us all the little jobs that add up to the extra weeks of work that you diddnt even forsee!

Don't want to take anything away from Rich, but the wiring for the hazards is very straight forward on the standard switch with a coupe of 50p diodes from Maplins..

Just done it on mine
