Ok i have done a cadbury base coat then first laquer caot has violet flake in it , a further five coats of laquer was applied (over a year ago ,slow project!) and after curing for six months started to crack with a cobweb type pattern it looks as if it is in only a thin top part of the laquer not very deep .It is a single pack laquer any sugestions on how to repair or make it better without a strip down and re paint would be very very welcome
thanks in advance .

Hi there,
This sounds very similar to the issues I have had with my project. There are pics on the topic 'clearcoat cracking' if that helps? I used 1K acrylic laquer. Unfortunately you have to sand it back to the bottom of the cracks at least, and if its a problem with the coats below it will all have to be done again. I haven't found the cause yet on mine, its driving me mad! Hope you can get it sorted-good luck!
