Timing?

I have a 1989 mini Thirty ive had a timing problem and lifted the lid to find it has 1.5:1 alloy roller tip rockers i have no idea in the difference in timing what do i set it at and m i doing it warm or cold or both? would be much appreciated if anybody could fill me in on what to set them at cheers john.

Engine and specs will help with the helping of your problem.

knew id forgot something yes anyway it's a 998 engine but has had a stage two cylinder head fitted at some point guessing the same time as the rockers cheers. skip

ive heard 1:5:1 do absolutely nothing to engine performance on a 998, has it been timed with a strobe?

i doubt they do to be honest lol but its the clearences that im guessing are different and no ive done nothing so far because i didn't want to bother before knowing all the setting and stuff.
