I think my weber box is a bit big and plan to cut it back a bit. What kind of filters did you guys run on your webers? Did you use your Mini as a daily with it fitted?

Thanks for the all the info! Mine is a 1312cc with a big cam.

I've got a K&N on mine too, if you want to run it on the road you deff need a filter, if you want something smaller you could use the sock filters which fit over the ram pipes but the big filters are supposed to be the best. Also don't bother with wire mesh filters.

i dont know what MPG i get with this car, not something i look at really...what kind of driving are you looking at? motorway speeds? back roads?
my ecconomys going to be down in any case because of my 3.7 differential

Ratty's a 1275 road/race cam lightened flywheel , 1 3/4 su/ very heavy right foot
and get 28mpg

On my Cooper lum I could see the fuel gauge physicaly dropping when I was at full throttle not good but immense fun round town.
U got a nice arse for a chap LOL.
