I dunno if this has already been plastered all over this site, if it has, forgive me,
I couldn't find anything that really answered what i wanted to know.

I want to fit sportspack arches, but don't want to go up to 13" wheels,
So do you think Sportspack arches would look good with 12 x 6 wheels? or would they not fill them out properly?
Anyone have any pics i could have a look at?

Any help appreciated :dontgetit:

Thanks

The original 145/70 R12 (standard) and 175/50 R13 (SportsPack) tyres fitted to Coopers produced wheel/tyre combinations of almost identical height (in fact the SportPack's were VERY slightly smaller). SportsPack wheels were 6" in width, the same as your 12s. So, how well your wheels fill the arches will depend on the profile of the tyre you are using.

I've found that 12 x 6J wheels actually tend to stick out further than sportpack 13 x 6 wheels due to the offset. I replaced my sportpack wheels with 12 x 6 and they caught like mad on my group 6 arches. You might therefore find that the 12 x 6 wheels actually fill the arches better.

12 inch wheels dont fill out sportspack arches well enough to look decent in my opinion. They just look out of place and very odd.

With sportspacks, 13 inchers are the ONLY way to go.
