Made A Mini Trailer

I`m living in the netherlands and this last winter i`f made a mini trailer from a mini that was going to be destroyed, so you can say i saved one :D
it was not my idea to make a topic on the internet for it, so there are not much picture`s of this project, at second thought i put the pictures on the net

at this point i made my first picture of the project

the back was realy rusted, as you can see i welded a new part to repair it.

i made a contruction to open the hood automaticly with gas springs. this is the begin of the construction

looking good i like it a lot but 1 thing is that a van that youve put glass in in the side ???

there was a aftermarket company in the netherlands that this this arround 1980 before there come on the road, so there are a few Van riding this with this window, the good part of this story is that you see the Safty devices roalcage :D

Thanks for the compliments, we are putting à brand new 1310cc engine in the van hopefully we can drive it withouten any problems for this summer :) when i have the time ill put some pictures on this topic

this week i went to the mini to see the new engine, as promised ill put the pictures on this topic

it is a 1310cc with double flowed iff44 carbs and duplex chain and large in en out ports, steel 4 blad fan and the bigest maniflow pipe
it will do around the 100 brake horsepowers

i sold the 13" rims and put 10" 6j Original black steel rims with chrome pots but very wide so it will do perfect with sports pack arches
the trailer has the same rims but then on 5J but with spacers to make it a little bit wider.

I would weld mk1 rear light conversions on the trailer to match the van, looks amazing though, top job ! :thumbsup:
