Been a while since I caught up with you project Carlos, excellent progress mate. What did you decide on with the sound deadening on the roof panel in the end?

I haven't yet. Probably silent coat and something like the original stuff to stop the bars moving

I know this is from South Africa, but this is what I put in my car : CLICKY . Really light and is able to hold the roof bars in place nicely as well.

You should be able to. It's quite a porous looking sponge, so very light.

The pipe lagging is a class 0 Closed Cell Foam & although good that site is more expensive than other places for the same thing. For example LINK

As for the other stuff, to me looks like foil covered bubble wrap. You'd be better sticking with the foam or a felt type underlay.
Take a look over on the Talk Audio site for more info & to see how the guys there are doing things, there's a huge amount of info & great advice from members who've been there, done that.
