Tmf 2011 Calendar - I've Had Enough Of The Complaints...

In the last week I've had two pretty abusing complaints regarding how I run the calendar, one swearing directly at me in the vote thread (which was then edited and I did receive and apology) and then today I've been threatened with (I quote) "if you don't. I will" for an image that was too small.
This isn't the first time though - I've been told to F Off twice this year for not selecting peoples photos for the votes (both photos were rubbish) and I also got abused when I suspected cheating, even when it turned out that there was cheating the abuse continued and I'm still to receive an apology for this.
So basically, I've had it, I don't want to let people down but right now I simply can't be arsed with the hassle. If anybody else would like to take the calendar on please let me know and I will forward you the photoshop file containing all the images.
If nobody wants this responsibility I will complete this years calendar - but I wont be doing it next year.
I do this as a kind gesture towards the forum in my spare time, I design the calendar, organise it, get it printed and dispatch it - and I think I do a pretty good job, last years finished product look outstanding.
Cheers
Roberts
P.S. I would like to think that one of the people that has criticised me this year will take on the responsibility - as the obviously think they can do a better job.

Besides if I did it, I'd end up being a right stickler. I wouldn't stand for people ignoring the size requirements ect. Oh, and those that are abusive would be banned from entering.
You do a great job mate, sad to see you giving it up.
Tom.

Drop me a PM and we can discuss it if you like, we don't tolerate people abusing other members on here, let alone members providing the forum with a cool service such as your competition.

Roberts has done an excellent job so far in my opinion, and i think anybody who's been abusing him should have a ban or be reprimanded in some way.
Why would people cheat on a calendar? Get a life....

Though I´ve never seen any of the final products I appreciate you're doing a great job and only organising it involves plenty of your precious time. Oh, and shall I remind all those involved that roberts is doing this voluntarily??
your effort is really appreciated and this humble TMF user thanks you for that!!

I guess the Admins have some work to do...

Roberts, have you reported these instances of abuse?
Drop me a PM and we can discuss it if you like, we don't tolerate people abusing other members on here, let alone members providing the forum with a cool service such as your competition.
I've never reported things - as it's there own opinion to something, they think there photo is worth a pick - fair enough, I can live with that.
Basically, the two F Off's have been after the votes are created - I occasionally get an email with a photo that wasn't selected attached and the photographer will simply ask "can I ask why my photo wasn't selected?".
Often the answer is simply either "your Mini is great, the angle and shot is great but it's parked on your drive, go take a drive to a nice location and remember you take your camera with you" or "your Mini is great, the angle is great but the lighting is bad so it won't print very well, next time make sure the camera isn't pointing at the sun (unless you know how to alter your shutter speed)".
Most people get back to me with a "thanks, I'll try that" - and in many cases re-submit photos a few months later. However two people obviously didn't want to take my advice and preferred to tell me where to shuv it - fair enough, whatever keeps them happy.
I stand by my decisions though & I think 99.9% off TMF members agree that the quality of images in the vote is always high. So a quick walk out side to where your Mini is parked with a mobile phone camera simply doesn't cut the mustard.
As for the other issues, as I said, already had one apology, since my initial post here the other member has admitted that his "message was written in haste and could of been phrased better".
So nothing needs to be done, simply for whatever reason some people are treating this calendar as if it's a matter of life and death - something I find hard to understand considering only 32 people purchased last years calendar!!

As i said in my previous post , the forum and team alike think your doing an excellent job with the calender , it would be a shame to quit due to the actions of a minority.
Yup - I know all of this and I appreciate the positive feedback- but I've created this post to find somebody to take over.
The problem is I'm not simply 'another' member and I have my bread and butter to think about.
I enjoy doing the calendar and If it wasn't for Optimise Automotive I wouldn't be bothered if a few people got annoyed with me. But, I have to think of the company and I've potential lost hand full customers simply becuase they don't agree with there image not being selected for a vote.
Silly I know - but something I unfortunately have to think about.
