juat had an interesting thought
has anyone ever made a clear bonnet?
like out of flexyglass or other perspex?
would be interesting to find out
or if it would be possable, woul the heat given off by the engine melt the perspex
or would it be possable to reinforce it?

Alan Hutchins ( AMOC ) has one , his red cooper is always on the concourse circuit and the clear bonnet is only used on static displays / concours events

I used to have a polycarb front grille that did melt at one point, the temps would be too hot for a thermoplastic, not sure if there's a thermo setting plastic that you could use
