His fabrication skills are superb, shame hes used them to ruin a perfectly restorable mk1

its not ruined its a mk1 and there are plenty out there.
using one for such a purpose with such factory like skills has no shame in it. he also answered my questions about the typ 9 gearbox how it might fit and what engines would fit that way around. prototype minis where suposed to be rwd if i remmember corectly, he might as well have built pre production mk1 (from the future)
now my car needs to be saved. can some people pull together with me to do this insane conversion on mine? pritty please?

Yes he has, this is a public forum and as such i have a opinion even if you dont like it, theres not that many mk1's and there gettig fewer when butchered like this

no no i didnt mean to offend you im just a bit stunned at the work he has done, i agree maybe somthing other then a mk1 but i will forgive him

Looks brilliant, attention to detail like that is amazing. Although i think there are some much more suitable donor cars out there than a mostly solid mk1! Also 'mk3 Cooper S' i agree the biva band wagon is getting old. Although Bungle is right, that will need one.
