Hello all! new to the forum just thought i would introduced casper (my mini mayfair) and me (becci) I passed my driving test when i was 18 (a year ago) and my uncle (who owns a mini club and is very into his minis) gave me casper for my 18th i love my casper car had him nearly a year now the only thing is he hates the rain and slows down and sown im getting a electronic egnition that should stop the problem, i dont know much about engines so i thought this forum may help! the only bit that needs doing now is he needs to be sprayed but lucky for me my dad is a sprayer yay! just got to find somewhere to spray him

about the not liking the rain, have you got a picture of the engine bay?
my old mini was the same it was because the distributor cap etc was getting too wet as it werent covered, was constantly using the wd40!...

i dont but i can take one tomo and show you and yes i have WD40 everywhere >< i have a cover thing on the front if thats what you mean? think its a splash gaurd black thingy sorry im not very teq im a girl

Hi and welcome to TMF, I think you mean the engine cover I'm getting one of those tomorrow and by solid they may mean the structure of the mini, its shell rusting etc ... Haha have fun on the forum

solid/not solid meaning any rust on the sills, floors, boot, wings etc

ooo sorry new to all this mini buisness, he is pretty solid, the only rusting is on the doors but we are putting new doors on when he gets sprayed i keep him up together so prevent rust i love my casper
