alright mate just brought some kirkey seats, how have you mounted them? and do they need support from the back?

hi m8 all i am going to do is bolt them through the bottom with dome head bolts, on to a seat slider, then that taped into some 1" x1" box, welded from the tunnel to the door sill , i wasn't going to suport the back. Ive seen these seats in the autograss cars and they take some hammer, and they only bolt them through the bottom. The best advice i was given mount the seat low, cause it can always be raised (adding spacers) but not lowered. The passengers seat will be as low as possible, and no slider. hope this helps.

This helps alot mate thanks, dont think im going to fix mine at the back either but on the kirkey website it says they need 6 fixing points

Ive seen you post on the local derby forum, id be keen on popping round and having a gander at the car when its closer to being finished!

Hi Matt your more than welcome, been abit slow at min very busy at work, but bearing holders come back from machine shop so hopefully she will be on her all four soon
