I thought that was your car as it went past! I'm sat in the passenger seat of that orange clubby.

I saw a cheeky little wave from your driver as i passed you down folly... and then changed upto 5th i believe :-)

The amazing Photography is from Brooksey. Thanks man.

bit of an update apart from developing a slight fuel leak the car has now completed approximately 400 miles of hard driving without any major problems!

Im getting a bit bored of it. i either need to VVC or, or get rid and get another project, i really really fancy a clubman estate or a roundnose van. hmhmhmhm.

in away i enjoyed the countless nights welding, and fabricating etc, more than i do driving it.

So since the K series swap, does it still handle like a mini?

Obviously it'll have a lot more power, but I'm wondering if I'll have to get used to my car all over again if I do this swap.

To be honest, i cant tell any difference in the way it handles, the K series is slightly further forward, but it is also alot lighter which kind of compensates for it.

I still have not had the castor and camber set since the conversion...

I personally think it is much cooler than the mini.

I am in the same boat as you mate. Got a hankering for the next project. Something old with a new engine in it.

A metro is for life, not just for xmas Liam?

I think this is a xmas thing, after xmas you'll feel alot better, so just get a labrador puppy over xmas and pass it on after, be alot easier than getting a metro
